JONES FORK

Jones Fork Silver Creek is a second order stream and also empties into Union Valley Reservoir. The selected reach lies east of Ice House Road. The reach lies almost entirely on land privately held by Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI). Tree species in this area include Lodge Pole Pine, Douglas Fir, White Fir, and Incense Cedar. This stream suffers from heavy, unauthorized off-road vehicle use. SPI has made repeated attempts to restrict access, with little success until recently.
